The Waterfront by Ember Stays

We had extremely high hopes for this property, but overall were disappointed. First, the cleanliness of the house needs to improve. We noticed dirt and dust under chairs, multiple things in the kitchen were unclean. Many things in the house were damaged (doors, tp holders). The biggest issue was we rented a property with a golf cart due to having two elderly guests with us and the golf cart was in the garage, caked in sand, with a flat tire. We notified the host immediately and had to follow up multiple times. It was still not fixed after. Many of the bike tires were not in great shape. The ice machine advertised was sitting in the corner of the garage, completely not functional. There were not enough towels and wash rags for the number of people on the listing. When we went to use the pool in the hot tub, it was freezing cold. It took hours to heat up. Communication started lacking after we asked for things to be fixed. It is obvious things are not thoroughly checked or cleaned after each stay. Very disappointed as someone who has stayed at multiple properties in this area. Avoid this rental.

Beautiful house, gorgeous views, and accommodating for big families. Positive: This property is amazing! The house is very much accommodating for a big family. The huge kitchen has everything needed for cooking. The backyard is beautiful with a big size pool and a private dock. This property also had a golf cart and 6 bikes, making the trip to the beach a breeze. Having access to the garage for all the sandy beach things allowed us to keep the clutter out of the way during our stay. Overall, our experience was amazing! We will be back!!

The view over the lake was beautiful. The home had plenty of space for our 3 families to spread out. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and playing in the pool. Very simple to access the nearby public beaches and having the 6 seater golfcart made transporting beach gear easy. Definitely recommend this home.
